A Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) is a designation offered by the Canadian Institute of Certified Executor Advisors (CICEA). Becoming a CEA involves taking a course and passing an exam. CEAs advise executors throughout the entire estate settlement process. A CEA cannot act on behalf of the estate executor or administrator, but they can help their clients by offering guidance on a range of topics.
Each of Cadence’s Support Specialists has a CEA credential, and continues their education throughout the year.
Note that CEA is a Canadian credential and education is based on Canadian laws. There are many of the same or similar practices in the US and Canada, but our Support Specialists educate themselves on both country's practices and provide the best knowledge for your location.
